I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

My research interest lies at the intersection between Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Digital Ethnography and Studies of Technology and Society (STS). Through interdisciplinary methods, I strive to unravel the complexities inherent in the mutual shaping of humans/non-humans and technologies within daily practices. I have been actively involved in research related to the design, evaluation, and application of sensor-based technologies (e.g. Social Robots, Wearables, VR/AR) in long-term care, mental health and rural culture.

Currently I am leading several prestigious research grants, including the Young Scientist Programme of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Young Scientist Programme of the Shanghai Magnolia Talent Plan Pujiang Project. My scholarly contributions have been published in esteemed international journals and conferences such as Innovation in Aging, Medical Internet Research, ACM CHI, and so on. I also hold an executive member role in the CCF HCI Committee and I am a professional member of ASA, IEEE, Socio-gerontechnology Network, and DRS. My commitment to the field is underscored by my long-standing service and regular engagement as an editorial board member, program committee member, and reviewer for international journals and conferences.
